nothisfaultShe was sitting in the kitchen, hands wrapped around a mug, staring silently out at the void as she termed it sometimes. She was waiting for her husband to come home because there were conversations that needed to happen and Stiles is at Scott and Melissa's house for the moment.
They didn't need to talk about this with their baby boy there. Not when their clever wonderful little man would be able to tell something was wrong.

"We decided that we were going to build a tunnel to China and then we decided that sticking around to hang out with the other dinosaurs in the World Beneath was a better option and then unfortunately we had to go to school. I asked Melissa if he could sleep over and gave her pizza money for them."
She stood up and moved to come join him, slipping her arms around him and resting her cheek on his shoulder. "How was your day?"
