She was sitting in the kitchen, hands wrapped around a mug, staring silently out at the void as she termed it sometimes. She was waiting for her husband to come home because there were conversations that needed to happen and Stiles is at Scott and Melissa's house for the moment.

They didn't need to talk about this with their baby boy there. Not when their clever wonderful little man would be able to tell something was wrong.

History/World Setting: Claudia lives in Beacon Hills, with her husband and son. It's a small town in Northern California that's big enough that she doesn't get itchy feet and small enough that she's comfortable raising her son there.

It's like a small piece of Utopia there for them. They've been there since Stiles was born and she was hesitant at first about the town but now it's home and she loves it.

Personality:

Claudia is very free-spirited, she's not your normal stay at home mom or sheriff's wife. She figures she listens to too much classic and alternative rock music for that to be true. With a son that's got a hell of a lot of energy and a husband with a job that makes her worry a lot, they've always got her on her toes. And that's fine by her, it makes life so interesting and she and Stiles go have a lot of adventures when it's just the two of them. It's even better when her husband is there and they've got family adventures to tell stories about and show the pictures from them.

She's smart and sassy, a former graduate student at Berkeley, she took a leave of absence when she had Stiles and hasn't found the time to go back yet. She'll get there eventually, right now she has a husband she's in love with and a little boy that loves questions and fairytales as much as she ever did as a child. She's pretty passionate about her writing and her photography and her men. Anything else is secondary to those three things.

Sometimes she's too overwhelming, especially when it's about something that she cares a lot about. She comes on too strongly, is too opinionated. She's never been good at hiding those parts of herself.

Family was always important to her and while her parents aren't speaking to her presently, she's always mindful of just how important family ties can be and she's done her best to make sure that all the really important values have been passed down to her son.
